Tara’s Teas became an idea upon being asked if I would share my knowledge of tea. My love of tea began over 15 years ago, at an afternoon tea in London. As various teas were served alongside wonderful selections of bites of food, the nuances of the teas began to shine through. It was like a wine tasting; finding the floral, earthy, and fruity notest became a mini celebration with each new sampling being a present to be opened. As I continued my travels through the years, I was exposed to more and more teas. In Hong Kong, it was the rich teas of China. Japan taught me how to appreciate proper green tea. The UAE introduced me to a Chai that was familiar, yet so distinct. Each tea, as different as its location. All of this leads to my favorite question at Tara’s Teas.
